"A splitting can occur in a second or be a long drawn out process, the reverberations felt through all forms, spanning an accountable amount of time, touching all aspects of being; political, physical, emotional or other. A splitting can leave you with two sides or nothing at all, two sides of something – like black and white, two sides of a spectrum with every shade and bearing in between."
